Interesting and Unusual woman seeks interesting converstation

I have done many things, and still have a few things left I want to do. Nothing was handed to me, and many times I was told it couldn't be done, but that didn't stop me. I am not the type who sits around belly-aching. I don't believe in excuses and I empower myself by accepting all my choices including the good, the bad, and the ugly! lol. I am not a wealthy middle-aged woman. I was a single mother and in NS things are tight. I don't expect anyone to take care of me, and likewise, I don't expect to be taken care of. I am kind and giving, however, I have learned to be wise with this giving and take my time now when looking for love. I am not an overly social person however I do enjoy going to a coffee shop or chatting on the phone when I am not working with individuals with special needs or writing. I love to write and keep a blog and have started my own self-publishing business. I am handy and have fixed up many old houses in Nova Scotia where I am from, and frankly, I have no idea why I am on here other than I think I need more social contact. Covid has been isolating for everyone, and I don't think it is healthy to live this way! In many ways, some might see me as a bore since I don't smoke (anything) and have no interest in being around this. I don't drink at all (I know I have an addictive personality and have never pushed it since I don't like to waste my time healing myself in this way). To each her own, but life is short and precious and like I said, I have things I still want to do.
