i've been on this and other dating sites sending messages to girls left and right, but i rarely get replies. i'm not being mean or trying to "hook up." i'm just introducing myself casually and asking simple questions. what's the problem?

I dont know what kind of messages you send, but me personally, i dont respond to "hey" or "whats up" and very rarely rrspond to " hey how are you". If you do send messages that only say that, odds are thats why you dont get reply. You should compliment them or tell them you have similar interest if that comes to be. I wish you good luck though! :-)

@loulou00: i do include a comment on something the other person and i have in common. then i'll close with a question leaving it open for conversation. not really sure what else i can do about it. it's not like i'm hitting up people i have nothing in common with.

@BlaineD: check your contact restrictions. Just because you can send someone a message, doesnt mean they can send one back if you have them restricted. That could be the problem.
