What are you going to do if your best guy friend has a girlfriend but loves being with you? Do you know where to stand? what do we need to do to stay out of friend zone? What will he feel if you'll start avoiding him because of the thought that you're just his fallback? I need opinions from both genders here. Thank you!

maybe just like you said you both are just really good friends. dont be a fallback for any one. man or woman and if you want something more let him know how you feel first off and if he fells the same then awesome but if not its gonna seem pretty awkward so its a risk young padawan

Are you secretly in love with your best guy friend ?

I personally don't agree with friends with benefits , for me it's NOT A FAIR GAME. One party will benefited such while the other party is being emotionally hurt .

If I were you , I'll talk to him with all honesty about my feelings ( especially the reasons of why I'm avoiding him) . If he is now involve into someone else then I'll be happy with him .

Well, this thread is not about me but the people involved here are my close friends. This guy talks about her and the girl does the same thing. I don't really know what advice I can give them because I myself have never been in this kind of situation. The girl is my closest friend at work and she's now in so much pain because of it. I've talked to the guy and he said that he wants her to stay but doesn't want to breakup with his gf. That's where I'm confused. Anyway, thanks for everyone's opinion especially to reavis77.

@earthangel: Samething happened to me but did nothing. I still remained as her best friend but made her boyfriend understood that we are bestfriends and nothing more and he accepted that fact.
