I Found a Box of Films Inside an Abandoned House in the Forest (Part 2)

First off, thank you all for your advice and well wishes. It hasn?t gotten better, I?ll tell you that. I?m now trying to figure out what to do about this whole situation, but before I get too far ahead, I?d like to go back to where I left off.
After finding a box of three 8mm films in an abandoned house in the woods, I watched the first one titled ?Family BBQ?. I will now start referring to the person who filmed these simply as ?The Cameraman?.
I sat in my room in silence, thinking about what I just watched. I removed the film from the projector and placed it back into the box. Unsure if this was real, I reluctantly grabbed the second film named ?Woodwork?.
I then made myself another drink, set the projector up with the new film, and sat down to watch.
This one started with a grainy shot of someone?s backyard on a sunny day. There was a work crew cutting trees down in the yard, and also some other guys setting up a wood chipper in the far left corner of the frame.
The man behind the camera was documenting the work at his new house. Saying something about how he wanted to see the ?progress coming along?.
Once he was done explaining what he was planning to do with his yard, he gave a tour of his newly renovated house. It was a secluded ranch that was built on a slight hill, so it allowed the house to have a second floor & garage beneath the main level.
He went through the house, finally recording the rest of the family. It was just him and his son by the look of it.
After having a conversation with his kid and finishing the tour of the house, the film cut.
It was now almost dark outside. The weird music I heard from the last film was playing again. The large, yellow wood chipper was now center frame, running. The camera then slowly panned to the right, showing the father and son, both gagged and tied up by some type of metal wire.
Their wrists were profusely bleeding from how tight the wire was. I could see both of them struggling to break free, with their attempts remaining unsuccessful.
The Cameraman then walked into frame this time. He was at least 6?5? and looked to be around 250 pounds. He was wearing a long black trench coat. Something about his build appeared strange. His movements appeared as if they were inverted. Like he was kind of moving in reverse. Everything else looked normal except for him.
He picked the son up with ease and carried him out of frame. Both the father and the son were screaming, or trying their best to. After a second or two, the camera zoomed out to show the son in front of the wood chipper, and his dad to the right, desperately rolling around and trying to break free.
The man walked over to the chipper, and proceeded to pick the son up and throw him head-first into it.
I had to turn away for a minute to stop myself from getting sick. I?ve seen some horrible **** on the internet, including one of my first ?shock videos? being funky town, but this was on an entirely different level.
I turned to look back when I heard what sounded like fighting. The dad somehow made it on his feet, and was actually trying to shove the Cameraman into the wood chipper. I honestly couldn?t blame him. The dad made another charge at the man, but the man side-stepped and the dad tripped, hitting his head hard on the side of the machine.
The man picked up the disoriented and bloody father, this time shoving him legs-first into the wood chipper. This was what did it for me.
I ran out of my room into the laundry room next to mine, and proceeded to lose my dinner in the huge laundry basin/sink.
Once I was able to collect myself, I went back into my room. I was afraid to look at my wall, but at this point, I felt I was in too deep, and had to finish it.
The Cameraman was taking a long time recording the crimson-stained wood chipper. There were chunks of bone and meat strewn all around the yard. Then the film finally ended. That was enough for me. I didn?t need to view the third one.
I was now having a mental debate of if I should smash all of this to **** and burn it, or return it all when we went back to M?s house.
I decided on destroying all of it.
I quietly crept up my basement stairs, checking to see if anyone was still awake. I peered into the dark living room, seeing no sign of anyone. With that, I went down and collected everything, including a baseball bat.
I went over to the large, french doors in the living room and stepped out into the humid summer air. I placed the projector on the ground and proceeded to beat it, as if the camera itself was the Cameraman.
After I felt satisfied with how smashed up it was, I did the same to the tapes. I then went back into my house and headed to the garage.
Once in my garage, I looked around. Charcoal Igniter. Perfect. It kind of felt wrong, but I had to destroy it somehow. I also found a book of matches sitting next to the bottle.
I went back to my backyard and started to gather up all of the smashed items. I threw all of the pieces into my fire pit, and completely covered it all with the entire bottle of fuel.
The bottle was finally empty. I grabbed the matches and lit one. The smell of burnt sulfur filled the air. I dropped it onto the fire pit.
Everything started burning quickly. I watched as the tapes shriveled up and melted away. After everything was burned, I put the fire out and poured water on top of it for good measure.
I retrieved what was left of this mess, and threw it in a dumpster at a nearby gas station.
After that night, I tried my god damned hardest to forget about what was on those tapes. To this day I haven?t seen anything that awful. Quite honestly, it?s been a couple of years since I even thought of all of this.
I started writing all of this out today because something made me think of it, and I am sure as **** that what happened was connected to this.
My day today started off as it normally would. I got ready for work and then walked outside to get my car started and heated up. The only different thing about today was the fact that there was a small package on my porch, long before the mailman should have been here. Weird. I left it on the counter and went to work, completely forgetting about it until I got home.
After a long, 10-hour shift, I got back home and remembered the strange package after collecting my regular mail. When I was finally settled, I opened it up. Inside the box was a USB drive, simply titled ?A Walk In The Woods?, along with a note that plainly stated: Finish what you started.
It?s been two hours since I opened that up. I?ve been sitting here with a drink in one hand, and a loaded gun in my other. I?m unsure of what to do. I?m not sure how the hell this person, or whatever they are, found me. It?s been roughly 9 years since I found those tapes and got rid of them. I?m not sure why or how this is catching up to me now. I want to head back to that forest and confront whoever this is, but most of it has been torn down for new neighborhoods. I spent some time trying to find it from an aerial view, but it may just be easier going in person.
I?m afraid to see what?s on this drive. I already know what it?s going to be, but I?m still hesitant to even plug it in. I don?t know what I?m going to do next.
The one thing I do know, is that I don?t plan on being in one of those tapes.
I am going to take their advice though. I think I?m going to finish this, one way or another.
I?m going to see what?s on this drive tonight. I should hopefully have another update up for all of you within a few days when I?ve collected my thoughts and have everything thoroughly planned out.
Thank you.
-D
