Ok, so my mood just went to sh*t. I am having an arguement with one of my wives (What I call my best friends.) I want your opinion on if what I did was wrong...

A few weeks ago one of my wives (We'll call her wife A) and her husband seperated. They have always had a rocky relationship, and things finally got to the point where it was too much. Now, wife A and Wife B ( the one who is mad at me) used to be friends but they had a falling out. The night that Wife A and her hubby called it quits, he went to Wife B's house and hung out. While there he made up a lot of lies about his wife, and made her seem like a terrible person. Wife B told me what Wife A's hubby said, so I told Wife A. Now, I don't think that me telling Wife A what her hubby said should be grounds for Wife B to be angry with me. I didn't say anything bad about her to Wife A, and the hubbies lies are all that I passed along. Am I wrong? Should I have not said anything?

That's a toughy! If I were you, I would've asked wife b to tell wife a what hubby be saying about wife a instead of you telling to wife a.

I dont think u did anything wrong. If u cant depend on ur friends then who can u depend on. Sometimes we get mad at the wrong people when we hear things we dont wanna hear, sounds like this is happening in this case. If ur husband was telling lies about u im sure u would want ur friends to tell u and ur other friends should feel the same way. Regardless of their feelings towards that person. Dont beat urself up, u did nothing wrong in this situation

It's just that the things he was saying were SOOO wrong! And I knew that if he was saying them to Wife B he was saying them to everyone. Wife B wouldn't talk to Wife A cuz she's mad at her, and she thought it was funny. I felt that I had to give Wife A a heads up, so she wasn't blind sided by the info when it did EVENTUALLY get back to her.

i dont think u did anything wrong really. The only safe thing to do would be to push wife b to tell wife a, but all in all u did the right thing. Its better to hear something like that from a friend than a stranger.

Did wife B ask you not to say anything....if so that may be the reason she is upset. However if it was not asked of you i dont believe you were wrong. However i agree that you shouldve just stayed out of it.

No, she never asked me not to say anything. I couldn't NOT say anything and still have a clean conscience. If she knew my ex was spreading lies I would want her to tell me...
