eli5: What makes some animals have red meat, some have white meat, and some both?
I was eating a pork chop and I was wondering what makes some meat, like pork chops, white meat but ham and bacon from the same animal red meat. I assume that it?s got to do with the muscle structure or something like that, but just wondering if anyone knew. Thanks.
