I couldn't think of a better title, but anyway...
My birthday is soon and it has me thinking back over the last few years: all the friends I've made and things I've done. Thinking back to how I met some of my friends and the moments that we shared together, good and bad. It makes me also look back on all the friends I've had and am no longer in contact with and how the years just kinda flew by. It also has me wondering: where are those people and how are they doing? I also think of those who I use to hate (well those few who I remember) and wonder what life has done to them since last we saw each other.
Isn't it funny how time can just kinda, slip by you like that? And how life can kinda take you on, without you realizing it's been almost 10yrs and I haven't seen or heard from this person, yet they popped into my mind and now I cant help but wonder: where are they and how are they?
Being up late has made me contemplative... but I do wonder where some of them are now. And what their lives are like....

I can relate to @ 10 years of being not in contact with them but still remember them. I had a best friend in grade school but we parted ways when we were in high school . We have no communication since then and up to now I'm still wondering how life treated her , how many children she has , or did she still remember our happy moments . Everytime I browse the web , I always search her name hoping I'll be lucky to find her :( but until now .. I'm unsuccessful of my search sigh ....

But hopefully before I bid goodbye to the world , I'll see her again ..

it does suck, I mean half my issue is I moved so much in my life, I can't remember half the people I use to know... and I might remember them but not their name, or the very least their last names, so I can't even look them up. I have many people I wonder how life is for them since last we meet, but I am unable to track them down as well. It is kinda sad, honestly. I hope you locate your friend :)

I agree it's really sad , & though I am not losing hope but I started searching her when Friendster was a big hit before and FB was still unknown and keep searching her upto now .. Every little details which I could connect to her I am excited ..:( ..


& I'll take this opportunity just incase she's lurking lol.. Marlen , I am missing you so much ... It's been more than 2 decades but your name is still printed on my heart :) !!

I kinda have one friend from when I was like 8-12 I am really searching for... but I can't remember how to spell her name, which is half my issue I think. lol

, you can try various spelling of her name lol.. I discovered there is a tool/ software to track down people's location but at least you know her name ( even misspelled since it shows related or similar searches ) and age .. I tried that too but I guess she is married now and using different last name :(
