Walking On Eggshells. (by VampDoll)

I know I was involved in the incident yesterday and sure it wasn't nice for anyone involved and it was a bit of drama but things happen all the time in life and everyone reacts differently. But now I'm thinking of opting out of the forums as well because if I have to over think what I want to say or be constantly worrying I may offend someone, then what's the point. I can be dry and sarcastic, I do like a heated debate, and apart from yesterday I felt free to be me, raw and unapologetic. I know andres just wants to make the place a more friendlier and welcoming environment but reality is, we will come across people we don't particularly like or agree with, all the time, in cyber land or our every day normal lives. We can't all just get along, and I'm not sure bringing the no drama rule will really be effective. Its just my opinion and I'm not being dramatic either. I'm just interested in what everyones thinking. Me personally will not enjoy them as much as I used too if I'm always feeling I'm holding back on what I think and want to say :)

I think you're confusing drama with disagreeing. I don't want people to agree with each other (not even with me), I just want them to disagree without being disagreeable.

In other words, disagree without disrespecting, insulting, calling out, or pointing fingers at other users. That's basic civility.

A Forum where everyone agreed would be the most boring place on Earth.

@VampDoll: I've enjoyed reading what you have to say. If you do stick around the forums, I would love to see you just continue to be yourself. Before all this verify drama, I always saw you as a fun, funny, fearless and unique woman. It's okay to speak your mind and be yourself, as long as you're respectful.

Vamp the drama rule isnt jus about yesterday. we have had several incidents in the past where members belittle/call out other members even without calling them by name, for example, a thread last week concerning a member answering her messages or not answering her messages, the user placed all their dirty laundry on the forums to recieve sympathy, thats drama, tring to start stuff. We will always dis-agree on here, but i think Andres dont want us posting about our disagreements is the way i understand it.

Yeah I guess I'm just a bit sensitive still. But I've never been mean or singled anyone out and would never intend too in the future. I think there are so many warm, funny, kind and fair people here and I lost forwards to getting to know them better :)

I've not yet gave my opinion on ur lil situation. For someone claiming to want to get past it, u sure are bringing it back up a bit. I personally, don't think it even would have been a problem if u wouldve jus verified w/o bringing up 2 threads abt doing so. People here disagree, that's life. But sometimes, we bring disagreement upon ourselves....and when someone doesn't accept their part in it, it shows their true colors. And for the record, I did not verify ur profile pic. Looked at it, but got busy b4 I was able to make a choice. I wouldve marked "No, I can't tell" tho. What can I say, I don't grade on a curve. In other words, I'm strict when it comes to verifying pics. If u wanna know why I wouldn't have verified it, pm me.
