For the next 50 years, WYR live alone on a deserted island or in an overcrowded neighborhood?
For the sake of argument, the island and the neighborhood will be the same size, let's say 0.5 square mile (1.3 square kilometers).
Desert island: plenty of food/water/supplies to survive, but no contact of any kind with another person. No internet, no phone, no electricity, no modern conveniences whatsoever. You can leave the island as long as your feet can still touch the ocean bottom.
Overcrowded neighborhood: plenty of food/water/supplies to survive, but no privacy and no peace and quiet. Internet, phone, electricity, every modern convenience, but you can't leave the neighborhood.

Overcrowded neighborhood. I would like the island, but not for 50 years with no communication at all to the outside world.
