Nutjob Animal Rights Group.... (by MrWalkSoftly)

An animal rights group, Direct Action Everywhere Pinellas, is causing a stir in Florida as two videos show.
The first, which can be seen in the link I'll provide at the end of my OP, shows a man using his kids to confront two men fishing at a public FL lake. A kid asks that one of the men throw a fish back because it "had feelings". Then the kids father shows up ranting about the horrors of hooking a fish in the mouth and comparing it to hooking a dog or a human baby....then comparing his agenda to ending slavery and the Women's Rights Movement.
The video and story can be seen here:
http://thehayride.com/2017/07/video-...ing-fishermen/

The second video is of a Chik fil a. They had a promotion where anyone wearing a cow costume got a discount.
Cue the animal rights nuts....they entered with one wearing a cow costume and another weilding a fake knife and proceeding to cut the cows throat and it dying in a pool of fake blood....

....with kids witness to the ass hattery.

In the first video, kudos to the fishermen keeping their cool.
Wouldn't happen in Louisiana. The protesters kid would've witnessed his dad getting his ass kicked. Not to mention, its illegal here to harass people lawfully engaging in hunting, fishing, or trapping.

And I can't imagine what I'd do if I had a kid in Chik fil a and someone came in weilding a knife....fake or not, that immediate moment when it happens could look very real.

In closing, animal rights groups are nutjobs....and a good red dirt road ass whipping would do them some good....

Holy.s.hit!!!! Ok to the first story, what a coward to use his kids in this situation. He was doing more harm to their brains then any fisherman could.

To the second story, they had that promotion here too. The manager should have called the law for disturbing the peace and their dumbazz arrested! How dare them enter a place of dining and display such behavior!! I'd been all over their case if i was there. NO ONE HAS THAT RIGHT.

On a final note, we as humans are dominate, animals are here for us to use as food. Sorry, yes it sucks they must die, i don't like it either, but it's how the world was made. We eat fish, chicken, cows, pigs, and many many more animals. Don't like it, don't eat it, but don't you dare show your stupidity in front of my children.

Here's a news article on the Chik fil a protest...

""PINELLAS PARK, Fla. -- A Florida fast food restaurant became the scene of an animal rights protest on Tuesday, WFLA reports .
It happened on Chick-fil-A's "Cow Appreciation Day." That's where customers can get free food if they dress like a cow.
But some say the protesters went too far with the graphic demonstration playing out in front of young children.
At first, customers laughed as protesters entered the Chick-fil-A on 34th Street. But smiles turned to anger as they realized fake blood covered people in cow and chicken costumes. And one person carried a huge knife.
Some parents shielded kids from the gory protest, but plenty watched.
“That’s sad, because a lot of the kids are an age where they can’t tell the difference between what’s real and fake. So, I believe everybody has a right to say what they believe in and what they feel is right. But, I also believe they took it too far,” customer Tina Leacock said.
The protesters are from "Direct Action Everywhere Pinellas." It opposes eating meat or anything else from animals.
While others shouted, some protesters fell on the floor.
"They came in slicing each others throats, putting each other on their knees, dropping them to the floor in front of a bunch of children," customer Crystal Valle-Najar said.
Employees asked the protesters to leave. They did before police arrived.""

@Critter1211: I seriously can see it happening here and some ol redneck baw stomping that ass.
Or, worst case...a concealed carry holder pulling his weapon because of someone pulling a knife on someone else, fake or not....the initial moment would be confusing.
Like I've said, at the least, if I had a kid with me, it might not end pretty.

@MrWalkSoftly: I think they are lucky something like that didn't happen. The knife looked real to me, so i imagined it did in person also, it wasn't funny at all. And you're right, they could have been shot between the eyes for such a stupid act.
