My stupid phone don't let me post or write everything in one post. Hate this phone that but plan i use won't work on smart phone grrr......

@im1made4u: do you have Verizon.if so they are using #3 web. Which is not much and at the moment that dont offer more than that.

What plan, if you dont mind me asking? Usually, in this day and age, all carriers support smart phones. Not disputing what you say, just wanna know what carrier is still in 1990 lol.

Also, what is the make and model of your phone? I can google the issue and may find some obscure setting that is off or something.

@WalkSoftly: Its Alcatel ot871a att 35 plan 500min unlimited text&data. Calling&text works w/smart not the unlimited. 25 plan 250min unlimited text buy 50mg data for 5.

@im1made4u: Question.....does it limit how much you can type in a text also? Or is this issue strictly an internet only issue?

@im1made4u: I cldnt find anything dealing with your specific issue....so Im guessing its just how that particular phone works. Only suggestion I have is to go into your data settings and see if something is checked or turned on that limits data usage....but, thats just a wild guess on my part.
Im not very familar with ATnTs prepaid phone service, the Go Phone, but a quick search did show some adequate smart phones that werent too terribly expensive....although, I did see where smartphone plans were higher in cost, if thats an issue.
Another added suggestion, if youre willing to gp that route, is to switch prepaid carriers. I know several people on Boost and its great....if youre in an area that has good Sprint service. They have several smartphones under a $100, including the Samsung Galaxy Rush, that is $39.99, and would blow you away coming from the Alcatel 871. The plans are decent also. $35 gets you unlimited talk n text and 1gb of data....$45 gets you the same but 5gb of data....$55 gets you 10gb of data.
