I agree at 20, it's better to focus on yourself. Also at 20, there's still plenty of time.... don't give up on the idea so easily.
But I do really think maybe you should step back and focus on yourself OP, a relationship will come when you least expect it, so stop expecting it

I give up. I'm tired of being lonely. Obviously I'm not good enough for anyone. Can't stay in a relationship no longer than 2 months. I was hoping that the guy I met in here would be with me for a while but he started ignoring me more and more. He wasn't really in love with me. He fed me his white lies and I believed it all. I thought he would protect me instead of hurt me. I looked up to him. He just turned right around and left me for someone better than me. I'm an unattractive 20 year old who is stupid enough to believe everything someone says to me. Love doesn't exist. I found this out resently. Something's wrong with me. I know there is. I trusted him and he just threw everything I said to him, all the love I gave him and every piece of me away like I was a piece of trash. I'm better off dead than alone

Don't trust anyone until they've earned your trust. It sounds like there are more issues here than just finding love. I hope you figure it out..learn a lesson, and move on.

You will never be happy with anyone, untill you are happy with yourself. Another person does not complete you, he adds more. You are a complete person before and after whomever. Your happiness and self-worth come from you, no one or no where else. Spend more time with your female friends or female relatives and explain how you feel.

Also as far as all these dating sites, its like being in a Walmart. Too much to choose from. So go slow and dont give them what they want. If they value you they will wait and understand. Do look for mates on here, look for friends.
