Ladies who know about make up!? (by sweetnspice)
I have scarring on my face from a really bad allergic reaction that I had as a teen. So, I usually don't leave the house without foundation on my face.
I also have really dry skin from psoriasis, so I moisturize often but my foundation always makes my face feel dry. I've tried cream to powder, just cream, soufflé, bare minerals, liquid, and mousse foundations. I guess the only thing left is buying an airbrush set? But, I don't really wanna drop money on that if there's another solution.
Would face primer help to combat the dryness? Any suggestions? If I go into a place like ULTA and ask they will probably just tell me whatever just to make a sale.

@xlace38x: you put it on before your make up to help it stay on longer :)
There's also eye and lip primer too!!

@sweetnspice: oh ok, I just wear eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow..I do like lip liner
@xlace38x: I saw a tip the other day for eyeliner...wear black eyeliner on the top and brown on the bottom because it brightens your eyes.
But yeah, on a basic day I'm not gonna put layers of crap on my face lol! Just wondering about the primer because it might help...

Generously apply vitamin e cream a few min before the makeup.....that is what my daughters plastic surgeon recommended....works well for her
Give it a week or so before u give up....good luck!
