How to Write a Book (by mrb89)

How does one write the next best seller?
How does one come up with characters,
the plot,
the ideas
and everything?

How does one make it all come together?
How does one make all these things a book?

Tell me:
Is it a dream they had,
written down?
Was it a magical thing that hit them over night?

Please tell me what it is,
so that I can have it too!

Because if I don't finish writing my novel soon,
I may end up eating my shoe!

Write what you know about. Most auhthors fail to get published due to lack of research. So research research research and when you're tired of research do more researching. Diligence is the key to success. Keep in mind that art imitates life and the point is to paint a picture in the mind of the reader. write as if noone will ever read it, be fearless and good luck.

This actually wasn't a question.... it's more a poem about being frustrated with how my novel is coming along.... lol

@kowboy2477: you got all that out of me asking her what her novel is about? Look dude you are entitled to your opinion but i have no negativity in me and if you are going to make a statement about me publicly then i invite you to use examples of what you are talking about
