Christmas is coming in less than 2 weeks and I'm 100% broke. I have no money to buy any thing for my family. :'( I hate this!

^ Christmas and gift giving doesn't solely means $ . If you have no money then you surely have time, talent(s) / skills & a big heart full of love . Make a personalized christmas cards, bring the children to the park & play with them , spend time with your loved ones & do activities together . Have fun with them . These are more treasured than any thing with monetary value .

@Bigdude1981:
Think of ways to make quick money. Cut grass, male dancing. You can go tolocal churches or charity organizations to help.

@Rainbowbutterfly1:
Which hallmark card did you read that off of?
Kids will be kids and they don't understand the true meaning of xmas.
If there's nothing under the tree a hallmark card reading won't make up for toys or gifts.

@ EE37: I'll browse it tomorrow & will tell you if hallmark already printed that out :)

You're right , kids will not understand the true meaning of christmas , that is why , there are parents to let them understand what Christmas is about . Parents who taught their children to appreciate gifts in any forms ( with tag price & priceless ) .

I have to agree with this. Although we want our children to know and understand the true meaning of Christmas, unless we teach them it from the beginning, teaching them it during hard times isn't gonna work. My kids are grown, and I still worry they don't understand when I say its gonna be a small Christmas. Its not their fault they expect more....its not my fault....its the world today, its just how things are these days. Kids expect presents
