Taking for granted (by Coolsmile)
Just like children take their parents for granted, we take health issues for granted until it affects us. We take food for granted until we run out of food, and we also take our spouses for granted until we see them in the casket and wished we could do or had done something better.
I want to let you know that even when we take God for granted, what's so amazing about God is, God does not treat us as our sins deserve.
That means that even in our imperfections, God is still perfect with His grace and His mercy.
I don't want you getting comfortable with praising the Lord only when the Lord gives you something.
Learn how to praise Him for WHO HE IS, because when you praise God for WHO HE IS, you don't have to wait till trouble comes to learn how to praise HIM

This should make us to pause a while to think, reflect...But certainly we would continue with our usual way of life: taking everything for granted until...!
@Coolsmile: Yes Gods grace is never ending. But like the title of this forum, we had better not take Gods grace for granted and a ticket to just do whatever we want, cause it's not just getting on your knees and telling God your sorry, it's meaning what you say in your heart. The bible says we judge by the seeing of the eye and the hearing of the word, but God judges the heart. Thank u 4 ur post :)
You Godd*mn
communist heathen, you had best sound off
that you love the Virgin Mary, or I'm gonna
stomp your guts out! Now you DO love the
Virgin Mary, don't ya?
