Im on my phone. I dont even own a computer. And you can call me technalogy illiterate. But my question(s) are about the advertising that pops up everytime im on this site. Whats that all about? I never click on them. Because ive been told they are all scams. But is that for monetary purpose...like they pay the site thats how they get $? And are they all really scams? If so why would they be allowed to advertise?

If there poping up you have to be clicking them. Phones andto understanding all smartphones dont get pop ups. Never owned a smart phone so not sure.

most adverts are scams but the ones here are true...sorta. Like you get free ring tone. But they want your card info for later then bill you later then you get one ring tone. But to et the ringtone they want ur info first. Thatshow the get away with it.

This is what I understand about online ads but i might be right or wrong. If you own a website, you can put ads on it , the most famous is the google adsense and astore (amazon). Site owners generate incomes thru pay per click (by clicking the ads) or pay per view(site visit) and thru purchase. The more site visitors means possible more clicks , views & purchases = income. That's how online writers earn money too & how FB earns billion dollars :D
