Death penilty (by cgdean77)
Yes Tennessee does by lethal injection these days...it used to be hanging but changed about 15 years ago. Our death row inmates are kept near Knoxville, TN.
I don't believe in it. Too many times they find out later the person wasn't guilty... Make prisons bad again and keep them for life.
I suport the death penelty we still have it here unfortunatly we don't use old sparky anymore and switched to lethal injection
Rather I believe in it or not is a hard call to make. A lot of times I think they focus to much on the wrong "type" of criminal, someone can get 10 years for selling dope....another person gets 10 years for killing her child....so me and the law don't see eye to eye when it comes to inmates
Virginia Allows prisoners to choose between lethal injection and electrocution.
I don't really have a stand but I think sometimes the innocent are given it. And I think its easier to die than to live the rest if your life in prison

The bit.ch that murdered my brother could have gotten death penalty but my family chose not to pursue it. There are only three reasons a murderer can be given death penalty in Tennessee-1. If their victim is extremely young 2. If their victim is extremely old-and 3. Murder for hire-or premeditated. Number three is what my brothers wife did-I truly did not want her to die tho because that would be release from the thoughts of what she did. If I gotta think about it every day for the rest of my natural life and suffer then so does she-in a cell until she dies of old age.
