I have been struggling to understand single parents due to some things that i am witnessing with my nephew and his mom. Would a few of you enlighten me on some of the struggles so i can hopefully understand some things. And yes i know this is a datin site but today i am using it for other reasons.

Well some of the problem come from them wanting the other parent which causes you to tru harder.

I am a single parent of a 10 year-old girl . There are many challenges that at first I find it impossible to survive such as, my emotional struggle to accept the fact that i would raise her by myself instead of two of us(husband & wife), financial worries (how would I keep our life debt-free), how could i comfort/shield my child from society's judgement and how could I assure my child that with the absence of his father, we can still be a happy family. I'm lucky I guess because i have my family who supported me and helped me through out, until i find my strength, my worth and embrace the beauty of life again...

Every case is different because we and our children are different.

One struggle is jus trying to balance the time since u have to be provider, friend and parent and u are doing the job alone...I hope I have kept a balance so that my kids feel secure and loved and wanted.
