Andres, I like to know when you first come on this site in the mornings what is the main thing you look for? Such as do you go straight to the Report a Bug Thread or do you answer your Inbox Messages? How often do you check the Report Bugs Thread? Just wondering...

The first thing I do is check the site to make sure everything is working OK. Then I check the Database to ensure all is good, and if a new feature was recently launched (e.g. Karma), I analyze that specific table to see how it is progressing and to make sure it is working as intended. I then check the Forums to see if there are any bug reports or issues that I need to address such as reported posts or anything like that. I don't normally receive many messages on my Datinbox, so I normally check that last. Once I see that all is good, I go back to coding the site (e.g. fixing stuff, working on new features, etc.).

That's the gist of it.

It was actually mine, and Aleksandra got involved after the site got too big for me to handle on my own. She's been a huge help and I couldn't do it without her.

Your pic looks fine, and you sound like you are nice and respectful to others, so my only advice is to talk to as many people as possible whose profile interests you. It's a numbers game at the end of the day, so the more people you connect with, the greater your chances of finding "the one". It requires a lot of patience, and there is no guarantee, but the rewards are life-changing so well worth it in my opinion.

We actually do have advertising, just below the logo on every page of the site. That said, our ads aren't currently covering our server costs, which obviously isn't sustainable in the long-term, so I'm looking at ways of generating more revenue (and being able to add more cool features that will require even more server power). One of the ideas I'm looking into was suggested by Kaotikdad and involves adding a Premium version of the site with extra features for those who want them (while keeping the existing features free as they've always been), and the other idea I'm also looking into is a Credit system that was mentioned by Brighteyes1211 (now Briteeyes1211) that would allow users to purchase things like virtual gifts to give to each other. I want to stress that the site as it currently exists will always be free, so no one would be required to purchase or subscribe to anything, and would be purely optional. But it's something we're considering more seriously now that, for whatever reason, our ad revenue isn't keeping up with our server costs.

It takes a few hours every day (even on weekends as the site never sleeps), and as the site continues to grow, it obviously takes more and more of our time. But we have fun doing it! :)

@Andres: What's the difference between New Post & Today's Post?
