The dating game has changed..... I was married for almost 8 yrs until one day it came crashing down around me. Where do I begin to recover? Any honest and decent men left in this world?

I understand that. What i did i took the last seven years to enjoy my family and friends. And enjoyed life. Because hurt like that dont go away over night. There are good guys out there. Just take your time and be patient as you look.

@Kells1979: yeah there out there i was married for 18 yrs and after forgiving her her mistakes and cheating countless times it ended and have been looking ever since the trouble is finding someone local or able to relocate cuz i own a home here and not a good time to sell and have a good job i love which are also hard to come by then there is family that i prefer to stay near so its hard but im never gonna stop looking till i find her

There's always a few bad apples in every barrell, just don't scrape the bottom of the barrell looking for the one good apple...

I was married monogamously for 17yrs and then he stopped trying and I kept trying and after 4yrs of trying, I was done and gave up. But I sure as heck aint given up on life and I've found almost the piece of me I lost in the relationship and its not easy being alone but its a great relief to be out of a marriage that wasn't working!
