Munnney or Nunnney? I both love and dislike tax season. Im single and have to really struggle to get anything back. When I do get something back it's gone in less than a month. This time most if not all will be used to get my car repaired. What about you?

Yeppers! I gotta file this year. Haven't filed for 4 years but my "business" took off this year so now I gotta :-\ I hate doing it and now because I work independently, I have to file quarterly. Ugh! Oh well...at least "auto repair" is tax deductible :-P

Hi there! Wow.... That seems a little hectic. That's a lot of digit counting. Im glad you dont have to prepare it yourself though. And, I didnt know car repairs were tax deductible!

@JustMeAndYou77: I have to keep track of everything including mileage, gas, lunch, etc... the joys of independent nursing lol. I like it though. As for car repairs, I just found out about it because I replaced the motor in my car a couple months ago. Definitely claim it girly! If you travel in your car back and forth to work, keep a mileage log and they'll pay you so much per mile for wear and tare on your vehicle :-)

Do you file it yourself Aldo? And if you do, what is that like...is it better than filing through a tax service?

@JustMeAndYou77: i use h and r block for efile as i don't have a computer and it's free for 1040ez it's faster my taxes are simple though i could do them myself with no problem
