I dunno but lately there's people telling themselves and others to be...real, true, yourself, myself, his self, her self, their self lol What is going on??? Some things we really shouldnt have to fight towards or remind ourselves of. Shame....

Its really just the way people nowdays are knowone seems to be themself for fear that others wont like them. Kind of if im not like everyone else I will be concidered weird or not normal. Which is why so many relationships dont work out you can act all you want but your true self will always come out. Could be why both bi polar disorder and split personality or sqitzophrinia is at an all time high.

Yes and I agree but if ya gotta tell someone or yourself to be, well, yourself then isnt it a little redundant? The person is then still going to live up to another expectation set by others who tell them to be...themselves lol So, I guess my thing is, if someone is being him self or herself already but not quite like others want him or her to be and others are like be yourself! Isnt it confusing? It's just becoming ridiculous and maybe a control issue to me. I feel that people have to live, learn experience and that is being them selves. If they arent honest, then the truth will set them free.

@JustMeAndYou77: exactly im myself and I to have heard things like get real , you dont have to lie to make friends , and just be yourself, but I just shrug them off I dont live to everyone elses expectations of me if they dont like me or think im fake then they can press on there have been a few times where someone has called me fake and I wanted to punch em in the nose and say really that feel fake. People arent worth it no point in getting all rilledup everytime some idiots give ya hard time in the end the world will open up and everything will be alright.
