I've been texting an old crush from my high school years (30-ish years) on and off now for a while. While most all my crushes and "boyfriends" have long been forgotten or I can only remember partial names, if any of thier name at all, this gentleman has always remained in my mind at heart. The last time we spoke, I mentioned this to him and told him my crush for him has always haunted me. I also told him it scares me. Tonight we spoke on the phone. Oh I want to see him. Maybe I'll have the courage to actually touch him, brush his cheek, maybe hold his hand. Many times now he has proclaimed his love and wished he would have spoken up those many years ago. I believe his words. Why else would he stay on the phone w/a woman that spent 4 hrs at wal-mart trying to find under clothes for a small frame but not so small other things? . . and cheerlead her through the tears of frustration? . . . (I HATE wal-mart! but that's another post). . . If you've walked this path in life? Please post me your story.

I had almost the exact same experience almost 1 year ago with my highschool sweetheart. We hadn't spoken for 30 years, and the first 2 weeks after contacting one another, we felt we still loved each other just like we'd never been apart, but soon realized why we broke up all those years ago. Whatever we had once was gone. We still talk occasionally as friends thought. It's fun to reminisce.

ive had a mixed experiance with my high school crush. (my first crush) i found her again on facebook of all places, to find out she was married and expecting a child, which nearly destroyed my mind, but after wishing her well both on facebook and we met for real a few days before she was due, and i wished her well in person. and now i call her a friend although i dont see her often, and she does revive the bad and good memorys of the high school crush i had.
