Why is it so hard (by emeraldleanne)
Why does it have to be so hard to trust somebody else after just one person ****s you over? Doesnt make any since to me.
@emeraldleanne: Personally, I think it's because whether it's good or bad, we learn from our experiences. So if one person ****s you over, you are conditioned to expect it in the future. It's sad, but it's the truth. And unfortunately, in today's society, expecting lies and deceit is just second nature...
I agree. I've been in a few relationships in which i always gave my all to make the girl happy. Not a single girl treated me right. I've taken a four year break from dating after my last terrible relationship and I'm just starting to open up to the idea of finding someone. I've realized that I'm STILL scared as heck about it and it's still really hard for me to trust anyone. Just hang in there and take it slow with the next person you meet. That's what I'm going to do.
Just remember that every relationship ends in hurt..whether breakups or death. But if u never let anyone in u may not get hurt, but u wont get loved either.
I cant see myself alone all my life so i have to let someone in. Being alone for this long was hard enough. It's just a matter of finding the right one to let in...
@Acire: excellent point girl!
Don't let those pains / hurts take away another chance of happiness...after the storms, the sun will shine

@john6290: you're still young, there will be tons of happiness ahead of you :)
I can't help but love. Its how I'm made. I'm always falling for someone but yes its hard. I actually found a girl on here and was in a great relationship with her but then she was taken away by a car wreck. I have moved on but it was difficult
@James2112: its hard but u hold on to all the good memories and most important..dont chase a memory. When u find someone it has to be for them not cuz they remind u. It'll be awesome in a whole new way : )
@Acire: yeah I have been a rebound myself before and I would never want to treat someone to that experience. So I give myself plenty of healing time before dating again.
