When u hear OCD what do u think? (by Briteeyes)
I always thought OCD was washing ur hands 20 times a day, flipping ur light on and off 11 times each time, a germ freak, an organized freak, etc. I have recently found out thats not true. What goes thru ur mind when u hear OCD?
Just obsessing over something whether its mental or physical. Never really put a whole lot of thought into it...hmmm :-)
OCD is obsessing over something, either tiny or large...
be it something like cleanliness, a certain pattern or routine they must do/go through.
Some people obsessively buy things, or are hoarders, some obsess over their appearance...
it's not always the same things, and there are different and varying levels of it.

Everything has to be even number my food can't touch my routine every day is wake up at 7 bathroom sit on couch 9 wake my daughter up change her eat do dishes sweep and mop watch Dr Phil Dr oz each day watch maury eat dinner get 2 bottles ready then 9 is night time lol
lol i have the same issue.even numbers with everything!counting steps.i used to not like my food touching either but im over that now.
Meg is right. There are different levels of it. From what I have read, only if the obsessions are severe enough to adversely effect you day to day life is it considered true OCD.
