@brad118: i personally think thats its great that you take care of your kid especially when there are so many dead beat dads out there. Just my opinion but whoever is turned off by you being a stand up man doesnt deserve you or your kid in there life

I share your problem. In my experience women seem to think we are looking for glorified babysitters. Not all mind you, just been my experience thus far.

I should rephrase...they are afraid that that is what we are looking for. But not all, just what my experience has shown me.

Most women should respect us single dads and usually do. I think the ones who dont are usually without kids. Any mom would apprciate what we do. Honestly bein a single dad(for me) works better than a cute puppy,lol... then again my lil man is only 4 mths so hes cuter than a puppy too. Maybe they dont want to compete for your love...

Thats another valid point. Competition. Another could be fear of getting attached to the kid(s) and the relationship not working out. Which im guilty of before

Im a single mother and do respect single fathers. It hard work raising children by yourself. And i agree with kaotikdad most women without children do tend to run. And as JCSMTG attachment is another.
