Please I need clarification on this issue please, I want to make sure it's what I am thinking, so sad to say over the years I have been trying to understand this clearly. every taught, suggestion and contribution is accepted.

friendship is when you have no erge to be romantic in any way with that person,relationship is when there is some kind of romantic feelings either physical or emotional.

and it does not only means actual intercource . the term has a wider meaning , with all its overtones and undercurrents .

Friendship is being social with someone without any emotional contact eg. Sex etc.
Relationship is when your involved with another person and have emotional contact such as sex and brien to gether.

i dont think you guys understand that sex isnt always emotional. Some people have sex and theyre friends ie. Friends with benefits but then again there is a big difference between the two

Friendship: A relationship that both people establish on the foundation of being like family. Actual Relationship: Both people have feelings very strongly for each other and have decided to be together in all aspects. (emotional, physical.. Etc) Friends w/ Benefits: The first one but with sexual relations and no family like attitude. Didn't really know another way to put it. Good luck with everything. :)

@reavis77: you are so right there are difference between the two friends with benefits. Would you have sex with your friend If there is no emotional feelings is there? And once you do you your friendship will never be the same.

4 me friends r someone u can share ur thoughts w; even fart infront of n still feel comfortable n no the person would do the same. Relationship u have 2 tip toe around the person n do the best u can not 2 **** them off bc it'll just b another fight. Plus u don't get mad when ur friends sleep w other ppl.
