Why do guys keep who they really are hidden? They put up this facade that makes them seem sweet and sincere, but after you seem to get to know them they change. I usually wouldn't stereotype, but this has been a never ending pattern with me. I don't know how to tell if they are really who they say they are.

It's really frustrating. I was talking to a guy for 6 months and we had hung out during that time and one day BOOM, I didn't even know who he was anymore. He went from being one of the closest friends I've had to some jerk wanting things from me that he had never even mentioned before.

That's the world we live in ppl will say whatever to get what they want quite sad to say

@MelissaFae: The only way to tell how they really are is who they change into, it sucks i know im proud of the country boy i am and wont change that cause its who i am and wont change it for anybody i was raisedold fashion and will die that way but may change other aspects to better me and my life, and not be afraid to admit when in the wrong either , how to fix someone that starts out nice and sincere then changes into an pain nothing cause its how they see it rather than treat others how you want to be treated cause its not who you are that makes them that way its who they are that makes them act like that
