This bothered me weeks ago .

If I am 35 years old and would put a profile pic taken when I was 26 years old . Is it dishonesty ? Deceit? Or not at all?

Thoughts?

I just wonder why put an old pic of oneself on their profile? if ppl r here to meet a potential mate wouldnt that mate then see they have wrinkles and gray hair eventually? why not just put ur real self out there?

I think its deceitful. Its jus like being a fake cuz it does not show who and what u r at this moment. If u have a pic up of a beautiful 120 lb 5'4 woman then thats what u should be. Not 10 years ago, but today. Heck most of us looked good rite outta high school but if i put that up i should jus put up a super model pic, same difference. Its lieing either way u look at it. The whole point in verifing is showing u r who u say u r, but if ur not a 19 yr old thin blonde then u shouldnt have a pic of a 19 thin blonde. jmo

For me it's a kind of deceit so when I learned that this happens , I was like .. Why not the recent one ( this person is way looking good in pic now compare to that profpic )

And rainbow dont forget those folks thatt do put recent pics up but lie about their age sayin theyre younger than what they r....and lately ive wondered about some pics that ive verified if they really r even as old as they say they r??

Great point Annie , I wondered the same too ..but when I was allowed to verify ( now I don't have a proper pic lol) I always vote " Can't tell " :) if I think the pic and age don't match
