I've had too before. When me and my son moved into this house, we literally only had a mattress and a suitcase with our clothes in. It was a year and a half ago and it was quite close to xmas. The house didn't have gas or electric for 8 days. I didn't have a phone because all the money I had saved went on the deposit and first months rent. We went to sleep each night wearing our coats and woolly hats to stay warm. So I could do it. Wouldn't want too though lol.

I've done it before, I use to go to a youth camp were electronics weren't allowed, cause it was a wilderness camp... so I've done it. I dislike it! lol.

I think I can't go without my phone because I'm also on facebook a lot but I've had times when I'm without a phone which is my only internet access and at first I don't know what to do with myself but then its fine. I read a lot more.

@ james thanks but I don't think I do. I just felt blessed we had a roof over our heads when millions of people in the world don't even have that luxury. And all my furniture is second hand and we don't have big tvs or computers etc. My sons DS was second hand, which he actually broke an hour ago. I haven't had a washing machine in months cos my second hand one broke and need to save up for another. But I still feel happy because compared to when we first moved here we have so much. I'm grateful for that :)
