I dont get it..maybe its just me. I see all these "random testimonys" saying people found thier perfect match on here.."the distance dosent matter" maybe my expectations are to high..maybe it because i just know what i want and am looking for something real...but lately i cant even find anyone wanting to talk to me...im done with the games and want someone i can share my life with..so where is all the love when im looking?

Im not sure but i think them testimonials are from people that deleted their accounts and in order for them to delete their accounts they had to write out them silly testimonials first . Its strange the way you never see any bad testimonials about the site though isent it ? :p

Gentlemen, you are both incorrect. When a user deletes their account, they are presented with 5 options. Only one of those options leads to a Testimonial, so those that are written through the deletion process are 100% real. Try it out yourself, go to "My Account" then to "Delete Account" and you'll see the 5 options. Only "Met someone here." will lead to a Testimonial. On top of that, we have Testimonials from users who have chosen to stay on-board for the the Forums, and you can find those in the "Success Stories & Testimonials" section of the Forums.

Please try not to belittle a site and the efforts of the people behind it with baseless and negative speculation that is completely false. It just makes you look silly when you're proven wrong. Remember, everything you post here can be see by everyone...including potential dates...forever.

Its strange the way you never see any bad testimonials about the site though isent it ? :p
As mentioned above, Testimonials are written by users who have "met someone here", so they generally only have good things to say as they are grateful that the site helped them find someone. That said, some do leave criticisms of the site in their Testimonials (as Mr. Ramtastic noted), and we leave those on there too since we post the raw testimonials (only abbreviated in minor cases).

P.S. That reminds me, I haven't posted an update to the latest Testimonials thread in over a week. Going to do that now...

Well good for you ram cuz i havent seen any bad testimonials yet And i have another account on here that i cant log into using my phone but i can log in using my computer for some strange reason so i tried to delete said account but in order for me to delete it i had to write a testimonial about the site or something like that so what are you talking about ? You clearly do have to write a testimonial in order to delete your account

@sak27 im sure there is loads of people on here that would want to talk to you but unless they are verifyed users they cant message you or even reply to messages or winks you send them . So maybe you should change your contact restrictions ?

I won't even ask how you can believe something "as fact" when you actually have no idea how it works, but I will address your other point:

so i tried to delete said account but in order for me to delete it i had to write a testimonial about the site or something like that so what are you talking about ? You clearly do have to write a testimonial in order to delete your account
Again, you are incorrect. With the other 4 options, we don't ask for Testimonials, we ask for Feedback. Like I said before, try it out yourself and see what it says for the other 4 options:

Met someone elsewhere.

Congrats on meeting someone! To completely delete your account, please let us know below at least one thing you did not like about our site that we should fix, add, or improve (140 char. minimum). Thanks!

This is not for me.

We're sorry to hear that our site is just not for you, and we will take your feedback very seriously. To completely delete your account, please tell us below why this site is not for you and what we could have done differently that would have convinced you otherwise (140 char. minimum). Thanks!

I don't like the site.

We're very sorry to hear you did not like our site, and we will take your feedback very seriously to hopefully make our site better. To completely delete your account, please tell us below everything you did not like about this site so that we can improve it for others (140 char. minimum). Thanks!

Something else.

We are sorry to see you go! To completely delete your account, please tell us below why you are leaving. Please be as thorough and specific as possible (140 char. minimum). Thanks!

None of those 4 options are "Testimonials", as you mentioned. They are actually very important feedback and insight into why our users are leaving us that allows us to improve the site for others. Unlike other sites, I actually care about user feedback.

So again, please stop stating things as "fact" when they are the exact opposite.
