Im a single dad. I didnt walk away, she did. Both me and my daughter are better off for it. Not everybody can handle being a parent.

Have to go with brad118's answer. we're not all like that. i love my kids more than life, and no matter that the relationship didn't work, we did (and do!) the best we could for them. so i see them as often as i can, and help where i can, and we all work at it. is there any other way??

@capricornlady76: alot of people care more about themselves and their freedom, so they do not have enough time to commit to the needs of a child... With me its the other way around, im a single father to 3 beautiful kids and love every minute of it

It wasnt hard i just had to be paticant, her mom cant handle being an adult. So i just let her hang her self with her own rope. The scereat is dont let your personal feelings get in the mix,and as a man be understanding that shell never get off her high horse and youll have your kids where they belong.

I'm a part-time dad and couldnt imagine doing that.Men guilty of that behaviour cannot appreciate the hole that is created in a child by not having the balance of both parents, and this is exacerbated by the absence of the same-sex parental role model. Ignorance, arrogance, self absorption?
choose any or all

As a single mom of two babies, its hard to understand why anyone would want to have a child just to leave them. My ex wanted our son so badly but after he was born, he was in his life for four months. My daughter is two months and he has never even met her. Some men are just pigs. They should be taken to the vet and have their package removed so they cant cause anymore trouble with it! Mad props to the dads out there that take care of and love their kids!
