It has been seen that a lot of relations brokeup due to financial reasons even some hearty relations. Whether wealth is necessary to make a relation successful? If so where the true emotions has gone? Might be i am wrong but its matter of observation that society has gone deteriorated in the sense of values and deeds than anciently...

Its very sad. But its true. I dont think it has to do with how much money you have but rather how you spend it. And if your rich you have enough to get everything you want/need. Ive seen our family go through a lot of money issues. Its hard. But mom and dad discussed what we needed the most and that was what we got. If everyone could keep emotions put away while talking about money i think things would be much better in that aspect.

I'd rather a dirt poor sweetheart than a filthy rich knob head.
Money bears no relevance to me whatsoever.

@VampDoll: same here. :) long as the guy (me) doesnt mind working. In my opinion money is a different topic then lazyness. Money doesnt matter but attitude towards work does.

Yeah exactly. I may not have much but I'd spend my last penny on someone I care about. I'd put them before me and I'd want to be with someone who reciprocated that. Money is spent and gone but love can last for eternity.

I have noticed that couples who base life on what you have miss out on the riches of life and rearly last. The day to day struggle of life can make a very strong unity

@VampDoll: its awsome honey... but rare in such a materialistic world where love is being "made" rather it should "take place itself".

As they money is not everything i know a couple that barley make enough to say what little bills they have and have to get help from the state to feed themselves and there kids but they are so happy with each other and they feel they have the most wonderful full life and family that is what matters not the money

The best things in life come free of cost . So true love is true love , money or no money . But like anything true , true love is hard to find . Its the lack of true love in a relationship that we try to fill with material things . Given a choice i am sure everyone will opt for true love but like i said its hard to find .
