Hi Folks,

I would like to start promoting the site and re-engaging old users and I think those efforts will bear more fruit if I improve the design of the site which now feels a bit "dated".

So in the next few days you will begin to notice gradual improvements to the site's design. Some changes will be more noticeable than others, but the idea is for all of them to make the site easier, clearer, and better to use in order to increase your chances of finding what you're looking for.

As this will be a work in progress, your feedback during this phase will be critical. So please let me know what think about every change you notice as nothing will be set in stone. But don't stop there, if there is something about the current design of the site that has been annoying you or that you simply don't like, please let me know as well so I can look into improving that as well.

Once I'm done with the improvements and everyone is happy with the new look, I will start promoting the site and re-engaging new users to breath new life into the site!

I suggested this on another thread awhile back and maybe its time to look at it....its a tad bit controversial but I think it may help:

Lift the ban on banned users....except, of course, if there are any legal reasons for the ban.
There were a few banned users who, despite their discrepancy that got em banned, still showed up everyday and participated
They could be made to make a username that doesnt resemble any previous ones they had so as not to draw attention to any past posts that may appear on the forums.
It could go along with the whole site redesign thing.....a fresh start for all.
Some may wonder...."How will they find out?".......One thing Ive learned is that news here travels fast, even between people no longer here.

*Disclaimer*- I have not been in contact with any banned users, nor am I petitioning for any specific user. I just want growth.

I would add the caveat that it not be anyone banned for anything racist or perverts.

I can handle a racist....Im just sick of seeing not one post in 14 hours till this one.

We could use a few more people witj imstamt verification privileges and a link to the codes to add pics, videos and such similar to the smiley link

Get rid of the "Rate" section. I see no point in it. I dont depend on what someone thinks of me based solely on what they think of a profile picture. Its too high schoolish.
And Im sure it may hurt somes feelings to find that theyre not rated very high.
Get rid of it and free up that space for something else.


Also....on forums, get rid of the "new posts" part. Go with "Todays Posts".....alot of times there are no "new posts" to see and you have to go to "Todays Posts".....its an added "click" thats not needed.
