@Davidbird: Lol, nobody knows, that's why we're here But seriously, I don't know how I fell in love when I did. I guess trusting someone with your heart: )

At some point you make a decision to be in love, whether you realize it or not.

This question should go to some of the Indian or African guys here. Many of the women I've talked to here say some of those guys can do it after saying "hello".

Love at first sight doesn't happen. What we think is love at first sight is more of a mutual lust with a bit of curiosity. Love, the real kind, isn't something that happens instantly. Its something that comes with time. If you believe you have experienced lust at first sight then that might prompt you to try and spend time with that person. Over time that slight interest eventually becomes real love. Time is the key to love. Thats just how it happens. If you really want someone to love you then spend time with them (Being a nice respectful human being helps too). It doesn't have to be a date or even face to face. Just as long as you and them are there with each other. experiencing each other and learning more about the other every encounter. That is how true love develops. This method of finding people can also be applied to finding new friends. Its a different kind of relationship and the effect is more along the lines of them being close enough friends that they would die for you but who doesn't want close friends? My point being that love is not instant and it doesn't stay once it is here. It is something that takes work, dedication, trust, loyalty, and most importantly, time.

I dont agree i think there is love at first sight but ppl can fall out of love just as easy as they fall in love

@ramrod007: Not sure about love at first sight. But I agree with you on falling out of love. Been there, done that. I can't discount love at first sight either. Even though I have never experienced it, there are those who claim to have. Besides, who is going to be the one to say when the relationship goes from lust to live. And does every relationship start with lust? I say no, it doesn't.
