I dont neccesarry believe in this theory but that's not the topic if we are then is this the final stage or is there more. And if so then what is it.

Agree w u, we're not evolving

Did you know some people believe that aliens we see are the humans millions of years in the future?

Unfortunately, i believe evolution may have stopped for humans, at least briefly, due 2 the new international community, and medicine, not alot of room forsurvival of the fittest or nat selection, maybe someday our evolution will continue tho...

I got something for yall since I'm in the science field. There are two terms commonly confused here. There is Evolution (note the capitol E) and evolution. Evolution (with a capitol E) is a theory of how life came about and changed into other forms. That one is the one everyone fights about. Then evolution (no capitol E) is just a term for change over time. They are not the same thing. So if we are evolving it depends on which term u mean. I for one say we just will change over time. Not into something. We'll still be humans.

@James2112: u make a good point, but, if u look at the fossil record u can see jus how many names early humans had, we'd still be humans, but after enuf change there'd probly b a new scientific name,

@spinne88: true but I believe we would be more mentally changing. Creatures evolve to adapt to their environment. Humans haven't changed to fit their environment since the different races developed. Humans now change their environment to fit us not change to fit it. But with so much interracial marriages happening we might eventually no longer be any single race anymore. Some scientists believe we'll sort of have a grey cast to us because all the races have mixed by then.

Very possible, i kinda doubt that will happen tho, not as long as the earth retains all its different climate zones and environments, it is a nice thought, no more reason for racism, but, ppl would jus find some new justification for hate of others..., kinda makes me wonder if mebe, if given a few more thousand years of isolation between regions, if the regions couldve evolved into a fairy tale like world of 'orcs' 'elves' 'trolls' 'dwarves' etc, varied by local environments..., not necessarily the fantastical parts, but u probly get the idea...

@spinne88: that would majorly depend on an environment that we couldn't change and had to adapt to. Almost 70% of humans evolution has been aimed at intelligence. Our bodies could easily change but we stop that by changing what's around us. We need protection we build it. We need warmth we make fire. We need to climb a mountain we make climbing tools. If we didn't change everything around us maybe our bodies would change but as long as we can change what's around us to suite ourselves then we will physically change but till then i think its gonna keep going towards mental development
