Im 49 my parents have been gone a long time. My mother for 31 years and my dad for 27 years. My question is, Is it strange that I sometimes go to where they're buried and set for hours and talk to them? Usually its when Im havin a rough time.

Not at all sir, it shows you still care, anything that helps you out, you should continue. for example i go to a little quiet spot near a river that flows through my town, and that helps me gather my thoughts.

@rayminton49: is not strange at all my dad died when i was 1 and my mom died when i was 14 and when i feel sad and lonely and no 1 cares i talk 2 my mom bcoz she is the best friend i ever had.

Dude, Id do the same time. Hell, Ill start randomly talking to God and people think Im crazy. Dont feel weird for talking to your loved ones

Not a thing wrong with it, as they all said. My dad and i used to look at the stars and every night i look for orion and say somethin to him.

I did that with my cat. It gives you a sense of comfort. Not wierd at all
