I had a best friend like this too. I was in love with him from the beginning because we were just that connected. He was my best friend and no one came before him because he always pur me first too. He put me before his wife/son's mother, I put him before anyone I dated, even family because he was the only person that I could count on anytime. He literally had nothing and yet still managed to help me more than family members that had income. He never let me down and we got into a whole lot of trouble together. He showed me how to stick up for myself and showed me how to not just exist but LIVE. A lot of people judged our friendship and said we swore we had something going on but there really wasn't anything aside from feelings. When I met my now ex husband I endee our friendship because I convinced myself it was time to grow up. Four years into my marriage I contacted him when it was falling apart and once again he saved me. He and I hung out one night and when his boyfriend was out of the room he confessed his love for me. My jaw dropped. He seriously wanted to be with me and I almost gave in. I left my husband shortly after for a night and my best friend was there to catch me. However, he had gotten into a bad heroine habit thanks to his older brother which I was trying to help him kick. But me and my then husband worked things out and my best friend was furious. My then husband and I decided to move to Colorado for a fresh start and my best friend was going to come up for a visit soon after. He never got to. He died of an accidental heroine overdose almost two years ago. I'd give anything to have him here now. But I'm glad at least the two grown men I loved most in the world, my best friend and now ex husband made peace before he died.
@LuminantFirefly: OMG I can truely relate to that. I am so so sorry tho about ur best friend. Mine too is addicted but its mostly alcohol and jus which ever drug is available. Recently i avoided his calls then found out hes back in jail, i feel bad for not answering. Reading ur story im gonna contact him now cuz i dont ever wanna lose him
My ex from 10th grade. I found out she cheated on me several times so I broke up with her. She begged for me to take her back and I refused. The next day cops showed up, took me in and questioned me. She claimed I raped her.
