Do you still believe in promises ?

If you make any promise( s) , would you do your best to fulfill them ? Or it is just a mere words to convince the person you are talking to/ chatting with ?

@Rainbowbutterfly: depends on the connection ya have with the person. but it is your own choice. they may or may not keep them, ya never know.

@Rainbowbutterfly: i do. ive spent my life trying to make up for all the lies and broken promises. i found i could never gain trust... so i changed. i always mean what i say, and if i do make a promise, i keep them, no matter what. otherwise i wont promise. if i know for a fact i cant keep it.

I dont make a promise i dont intend on keeping, that is simply a lie but if i make one say i will pick you up at the airport and my car breaks down i will inform as best i can and try to find a way to get it done

@Pandasol: I agree to you. Why make such promises if one is unsure ? Repetition of failed/ broken promises are an indication that , that person is broken and can't be fix lol
