@jilly: eventually it will happen? Lawd let me borrow that crystal ball! You have no idea how bad i need it lol in all seriousness i see your point, don't agree or disagree, the question posed hear is a personal choice and i'm not here to change anyone's mind i just think mean people suck regardless of what they believe

@samstone: lol your getting so defensive! I'm simply discussing the matter, not trying to change your mind either. Its a good topic but even the bible says that you shouldnt have that kind of relationship with an unbeliever look it up. If i find it for you ill share it but im not mean for protecting myself and my relationship with god. Thanks(:

I believe kids should choose their own path. just because we parents believe in something doesn't mean we should bring our children up to think the same. I'd rather my child grow up and know his own mind and whatever he ends up believing in I'll support him. Same as just because i don't believe in something i don't tell him not too. he is fascinated in postcards of churches and i haven't stopped him if he wants to buy one or show me it.
also @unforgettable don't preach at me. i do not appreciate it. discuss how you believe in something but don't single me out like that. its the only thing that does annoy me about religion. i don't see someone saying how they love god and single them out to say, do not have faith be like me etc etc so i don't want the same back. i am a good person and content in my life so go talk that to someone who feels the same.

Jus for the sake of good debate, would any atheists here date a Christian? Or a Jew, or Pagan for that matter?

Yes, so long as we respect each other. I wouldn't want us aruging over religion everyday. Have the conversation once, then leave it alone. Love is love and I think God would understand.

As long as they can respect my views , then I don't see a problem . After all I'm dating the person , not the belief , right ? (:
