Have you told? (by james85)
Ok, bit of a weird question but have you told any of your friends or family that your on a dating site? i've only told one of my sisters, just wondering everyones thoughts.
Yep my family knows. I talk abt this site all the time. i usually jus refer to it as "online" instead of a "dating site," and to some i call it (the forums) "like a chat room"
@Briteeyes1211: thats cool brite, i told my dad a while ago u see, and i told him about you all. but the one person i maybe wouldnt tell is my other sister, she has a lot of views and is not scared to share them
@James I completely understand. I dont talk abt this part of my life to my brother. He knows im online of sum sort but dont wanna hear abt it and dont mind giving me an ear full if the subject is brought up lol.
I've told a few friends but i haven't told my family because they don't live near me. but if something happens and i do meet someone then I'd tell my family where we met etc :)
My family and my friends know im on this dating site.
@VampDoll: yeah im the same with my family, and yeah i wouldn't be scared to say how i met someone, although id have to be prepared to take some negative views about it too
I dont see how family can give negitive veiws if you find someone that makes you happy and understands you. Jmo.
My mum knows my past record of disasters so she will be negative until she see's me walk down the aisle. regardless of where i met the person she'd not happy or angry. she'd just be indifferent and not really bothered. funny that i live so far away from my family ey.
Yes, most of my friends knew where to find me if I don't reply to their messages. I'm very close to my family also ( siblings & parents ) so they know what I am doing online ( I opt to use " online " also just like critter ). Only my daughter doesn't know about this " dating site thing " because she never understand it yet ...
