Posts that have received infractions will now be permanently highlighted in RED (by Andres)
@Andres: I have another question....sorry....but lets say someone gets 2 infractions today and gets dunced for 2 days...when they return and get another infraction will it be for one day or three days? Basically do infractions still add up for 180 days or daily?
@Andres: So, if I commmit ten infractions, Id get ten days, no matter if theyre committed on the same day or over ten weeks, correct? For example, I commit one today, I get dunced one day.....and I commit the second a week from now, Id get two days then? What if I commit 5 today? Would that be 15 days?
@Andres: Off subject, but is there anyway when YOU reply to us or quote us we can get informed thru inbox like we do with other members?
3 days. So yes, they would still accumulate within a 180-day period like they do now. The purpose of that is to punish repeat offender more harshly than first-time offenders so that they stop committing infractions (by making each subsequent infraction more "expensive").
Correct.
If it's the first 5 you commit, you would get a 5-day ban.
Unfortunately not because I use the actual full Desktop version of the Forum software to administer the Forums (including replying to you guys), and that's not tied into the site. That's also why you sometimes might see me replying here even though my Dating.mobi profile says I'm offline.

@Andres: Guess Im just trying to figure this out (I knowI know, dont break rules and you dont hafta worry abt it lol) ....but, only as an example, If I commit 10 infractions tday, Id get 10 days? But if I commit those ten infractions over a 3 month time span, Id end up being dunced for 55 days?
If you get them all at once, the Forum software won't accumulate the penalties. So if you get your first 3 infractions in 1 day, instead of getting 1 + 2 + 3 = 6-day temp-ban, it would just give you the highest of those penalties (in this case a 3-day temp ban for your 3rd infraction). However, you would then have 3 infraction points, so your next infraction (your 4th) would result in a 4-day temp ban.
So if you committed 10 infractions today and they were your first 10, then yes, you would get a 10-day temp ban right off the bat.
Also, if you committed your first 10 infractions on 10 different days, then your 10th infraction would still result in a 10-day temp-ban (but you would have already been previously temp-banned for 1 day on the first infraction, 2 days on the 2nd infraction, 3 days on the 3rd infraction, ..., 9 days on the 9th infraction, so you would have experienced a lot more temp-bans overall).
Does that make more sense?
This linear progression might sound like it will be more lenient than the previous geometric progression, but keep in mind that I will be handing out infractions for every single rule break, so overall, I think things will be stricter. If I happen to notice that it's not deterring rule breaks (particularly by repeat offenders), then I'll simply up the penalties.
The easiest way to avoid infractions is to simply discuss anything except each other.
