Well i for one think its great to see a man stepping up in the world, i have seen a few guys that dont even care they have kids.. But i respect all single dads! I dont have kids but i have been with some that did and its not tryin to compete for your love bc no matter what your kid will come first its just a fear of getting attached to them and then when the relationship goes wrong it hurts not only the woman but could hurt the kid in the long run too if they was attached too! Thats just my point of view

I'm a single father and id have to say women don't wanna deal with any of the drama that may come from ur babys mama. But I guess I'm a hypocrite cause I don't wanna be in a relationship with a woman who's got all that baggage either

@brad118: i respect single father bc i am a single maother of two great kids and i have been taken care of them mainly by myslef for a very long time and i resect the fathers out there that is doing it alone as well as the other mothers

Can i say were not all turned off by it my experience i get attached to the kid and i always treat em like my own and then they get ripped away from me and losin the kid is more hurtful than anything so thats why i absolutely refuse to meet anyones family and kids again it happened to me again jus 4 months ago and unless i kno for sure that the guy is gonna stay truthful and be with me then no i dont want any part of the kid or family ever again

I to was a single father but in my experience when my daughter got older she would run girls off because she doesn't want to see me hurt again this can be why girls stayed clear of me it takes a special woman not to be forced away but there's nothing wrong with being a single father any man can have kids but it takes a father to stick with them even if the woman leave him with the kids

I think that it is great that u take care of ur kids.. most fathers wouldnt step up to do it.. my god bless every single father..

Personally i believe it is alot easier for single fathers to find someone than it is for single mothers.. Alot easier for the men!

I am a single mum to 2 boys age 5 and 7 n its extremely hard work. i think that if a dad is there 4 his kids that's fantastic. Alot of single parents feel sorry 4 themselves but being a single parent is so rewarding when they do something to make you proud as you know you are the one responsible 4 that :-) so 4get the time wasters and you'll find some1 who respects you and embraces your situation. good luck!
