When wanting to explain something or when trying to correct repeated false accusations made against us by the same user to try to make us look bad unfairly?

Imagine you've worked for years on something, something that is actually changing a lot of people's lives for the better, and then someone comes along and starts telling everyone it's fake even though you know it is 100% real. How would you react (honestly)?

Testimonials are key to any dating site as they are proof-positive that the site works. So I can't leave our users with even a shadow of a doubt regarding their truthfulness, or they will lose all hope and give up, and then everybody loses.

So, to be absolutely clear once again, our Testimonials are 100% real, as Jamesmc has proven.

I dont worry bout the testimonials. I understand that u wld wanna protect ur "baby". I like this site bkuz of the completely free usability. Every site ive used lied about the free. I dont have alot of luck meeting ppl on this site but i know thats not the sites fault. Theres just not enough gays or bi guys in oklahoma.

@Andres: i have owned 3 dif. Sites over the year and you Cant be more wrong. Anyone can make fake accounts and just make a T. Just to throw other users off track. So just because you are a admin on this site and you should know the site.

And another thing you site is outdated. Get some real web designers here to make this site way better. The profile veiws can be modified to suit mobile user better.

All in all Dont bring that admin stuff and try and make a user look bad by saying what he said is false. He is right because i have seen the same stuff on here.

Ok andres. Let me put it like this.
1. your wrong. Anyone can make a fake account just to do that. It makes the site look better. But it can also throw users off track. I have ran into fake testimonys on this site. And for me. I dont beleive a da*mn bit of it.
2. Just because your an admin. Dont mean you know sh*t about the site. I have owned 3 site. And i can tell you first hand. No matter what you are running on your site. There is always loop holes in something.
And 3. This site needs some major upgrading. I can spend 1 day on this site and make it better with just 1 small input. Think about that. I do html. CS4. Coding and with just 1 small input. Make me site have a better reveiw. Take my advice.

And making a user look bad by calling what he seen false is low. Your job is to investigate the problems yourself. Not have the user give you all the info so you can do something so small. Why not do an investigation on the matter. And not say someone accusation are false.

Im not trying to get banned. So dont take no offence to this. But your website crew cant make a site. You are missing some key aspects to a dating website.

You may have owned 3 different sites, but you don't own this one and you have absolutely no idea how it works behind-the-scenes. So to suggest I cannot be more wrong in my understanding of how my own site works is just downright silly.

Are you seriously suggesting that there are people creating fake accounts in order to write fake Testimonials for us? Why in the world would anyone do that and what evidence do you have to support this? I've seen absolutely no evidence of this, and this is pure speculation on your part.

Actually, it means everything within the context of the Testimonials because the OP was suggesting that we were writing the Testimonials, when in fact, as the Admin, I know that is simply not the case. Again, for anyone to suggest they know how Dating.mobi operates better than me is ludicrous.

Hiring web designers costs money. Those costs would have to be passed on to our users. We prefer to keep the site free and code it ourselves.

What he said is false. We don't write the Testimonials, the users do during the account deletion process. Period. The example he provided was of a user who had been a member of our site at 3 different times, and had written her Testimonial after the first time she used the site. Maybe she didn't feel the same way after the 2nd or 3rd time she used the site, or perhaps she didn't remember writing it the first time around, I don't know. What I do know is that we did not write it, she did. So I wasn't trying to make him look bad, I was correcting his false allegation because I didn't want a single seed of doubt to be planted regarding our Testimonials which are 100% written by our departing users and no one else. I cannot stress that enough, and I have already invited anyone to see that for themselves by checking out the account deletion process where the Testimonials are left.

No, he is not right, and neither are you. If you've seen the "same stuff on here", then don't just say you have, point out exactly where and when and I'll be glad to show you that our Testimonials are written by our departing users and not by us. It is very easy to throw these empty accusations at us, but that doesn't make them true. Only two people run this site, myself and my girlfriend Aleksandra. I know she doesn't write the Testimonials and I know I don't, so that only leaves one option: our departing users.

That sounds a tad convoluted, why would anyone create a fake account just to leave a fake testimonial on a site they don't run and have no connection with and therefore no incentive to make it look better? Even if what you say is true (which I highly doubt), it is still not us writing the Testimonials. When a user leaves us a Testimonial, it is impossible for us to determine if what they are saying is 100% true or not. They have no incentive to lie and we have no reason not to believe them. We are simply posting the raw Testimonials that our departing users are writing to us. Nothing more, nothing less.

Again, don't throw empty (and false) allegations at us. If you ran into testimonials you claim are false, then point them out like the OP did. You can view all our Testimonials here. You are free to not believe any of our Testimonials, but please don't claim they are fake without backing it up.

How can you say being the admin/owner of a site means nothing within the context of understanding how the site operates (or, in this particular case, a feature of the site such as the Testimonials)? We're not discussing loop holes here, we're discussing the Testimonials. I wrote the code for the Account Deletion process myself, so I think I have a better idea of who writes the Testimonials on my site better than just about anyone on this planet, and only the account holder with their password can delete their account and leave us a Testimonial. So the ONLY way the Testimonials are fake are if 1) the account holder is lying (even though they have absolutely no incentive to do so), or 2) someone has gained access to their account and decided to delete the account and leave a fake testimonial. Do either of those scenarios sound plausible to you? They don't to me. At all, especially considering that there are 5 different options to choose from when deleting your account and only one of them leads to a Testimonial.

I'm not sure if you're trying to get a job with us or what your angle is, but rather than throw empty criticisms at us, why don't you make specific and constructive criticisms so we can improve the site? I've never said Dating.mobi is perfect, and I think the "Beta" in our logo proves that. In fact, I'm all ears when it comes to improving the site, as I want to give our users the best mobile dating experience possible at the lowest cost (free). You're never going to see me shy away from constructive feedback, that's why we have a "Give us Feedback!" button on every single page of the site, and why we included a "Site Feedback & Suggestion" section in the Forums. We take user feedback very seriously.

OK, at this point I don't know if you are trolling or are being serious, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are serious. How can anyone investigate any accusation unless the accuser provides the information that accusation is based on? If a false accusation is made towards us that I know to be 100% false like in this case (since I know we don't write the Testimonials), then you can be damn sure I will call the user out on it. Furthermore, I did investigate this matter after he provided a username (as I mentioned to the OP in a previous post), and found out the Testimonial in question was written by a person who had 3 accounts with us at 3 different times, so it's possible she simply did not remember or had changed her mind since writing the Testimonial. Again, that does not change the fact that we did not write that Testimonial and that our Testimonials are real and written by our departing users, including that user.

No one is ever going to get banned for disagreeing with anyone, including me, or for not liking our site. Only when the line is crossed and personal attacks and insults are made, or repeated false allegations about us are made without any proof, will a user be at risk of being banned since we simply don't want those kinds of people here on Dating.mobi. I don't think that's unreasonable.

That said, based on the tone of your post, it sounds like you have an axe to grind with us. I'm not sure if you've had a bad experience here or what, but I'm all ears in terms of how we can improve. If you just want to make false and empty accusations about us, and criticize our site and our customer service without a single suggestion, then I'm not sure why you are still using our site.

For the record, this user not only never provided any evidence to back up his false allegation that our Testimonials are fake, but has since deleted his account after I called him out on it.

The reason he had no evidence is because there is no evidence. Our Testimonials are 100% real and written by previous users during the account deletion process, and I will rigorously defend any false allegations to the contrary since they put our reputation and effectiveness on the line.

Why is everyone going off on the admin here?? If it wasnt for them this site wouldnt be here, soooo neither would u. This isnt a war zone ppl, come on!!! Making suggestions to help inprove the site is one thing but this other stuff is ridiculous. If u dont like the site, jus leave. Its suppose to be enjoyable.

I know for a fact they are true, if you go to the link that was gave you will see one posted that belongs to lenny69 guess what i talk to him everyday and i know his story is 100% true! So for all you people that dont believe they are true needs to just leave the site bc this place aint for you!!!

Honestly, I have been on this site for a couple of weeks, now, and no reply. Yes, I've written plenty of replies, but this site deserves to be free... Low class service for a low class site... No disrespect to you or your team bruh, but if you want a better site. Don't stop keep adding things like heyhere is your match for the day, or hey... Brighten your customers emotion for a change GOSH!!!!!!
