How to get better traction (by otis)

Hey guys had a question. I have a 1987 toyota pickup that im thinking of putting a 2jzgte in that will will have a mild build on it and i dont want to loose all my traction due to 90% of the body panels being replaced with fiberglass to prevent rust. I dont want to make this thing look like a dragster with a roll cage comming out the back of the cab and running down to the frame unless i have to and i do knw that there is websites i could go to and get answers as well but i cant access them through my phone. My goal with this truck is to make it look like a sleeper as much as possible and it will have a 2-3 drop on it already due to it being 2wd so any other ideas would be apreciated.

I might of misunerstood but if your lookin for traction on your tires. Soak em overnight in bleech. It works woners adit a home reedy kinda thing.

I know you wanna keep it sleek and a sleeper, but you can also look into ( depending on money avaliable ) Around here lot people put water tanks in truck beds, or a slab of concrete, the fish tank is a little tricky and requires lots mods to make work right. But works perfect if done right, buddy has a 90's s-10 with a 454 built to the hilt, and the water tank works perfect for him. But for what you are saying on doing you could look into just weighing your bed down with weight inside it, since your making it fast i assume the gas economy isn't top of the list, and with a 100-200 pound slab that little truck would stick like frozen molases to the track.

I knw i planned on putting a fuel cell in behind the rear axle and eventually putting 18in rims on it. This truck is kinda a daily driver but im hoping i can eventually take it to the track and run it as well

Ahh, well taller tires might help slow down wheel spin, but lookinto wide rims as well for the rear?

if i may make a suggestion look into a 1.5 jz its a 2 with a 1jz head. My brother uses that setup on the supra he races. As for traction you can weight your truck, wider tires and traction bars
