JMO (since thats what people seem to say when not wanting to seem controversial) (by Ram318)

The forum has become stagnant...or is it just me? Maybe I've been on here too long, but all the threads seem the same. I remember when I 1st came on, debate was lively and fun, with many different people from many different places participating. Why you could even mentione the "s-e-x" word w/o automatically getting labeled a perve. Woe be it to anyone who NOW posts a sexual thread in the "Sex and Sexuality" section. Egads! Oh I get it, the regulars like things as is, and tend to resist anything that changes 'their' forum. But I want to see it grow, with new people showing up with new ideas. I know what you're probably thinking, "Oh Ram, you're just having a bad day blah blah blah" but I have a sneaking suspicion that others feel the same as I do. If I want to post a thread proclaiming how wonderful mutual masturbation is, or how I believe Obama is a socialist, or how @Ladawn1974 is a hypocrite (not that I believe these thing, just examples) then I should be able to do so w/o fearing retribution from the forum "posse". Hell, maybe I am having a bad day, or maybe I'm just BORED with it all. Anyway, feel free to bash me. Have a nice day

I agree. Anyone should be able to exprees thier thoughts/feelings. And if someone doesnt like it keep going or respectfully comment. However i am NOT afraid to post whatever thread i feel like posting and def. Do not care who likes it or doesnt!! We are all grown and should not try and "boss" people around. We all have an opinion and do not agree always. Thats life. And for the ones who are doing so anyone who reads the forums can see those individuals have control issues. Jmo...LMFAO!!!! Lets go think up new and exciting threads:)

Perhaps this is a result of having removed the "Report" button from posts. I don't read most of the threads, so I'm missing most of this, which means I'm not able to take any corrective actions.

A Forum where members do not feel free to fully express themselves without fear of reprisals is no Forum.

Our rules exist for a reason, and that's to encourage and foster a positive environment where our members can feel completely free and open to share their ideas with each other (no matter how controversial), with the hopes of finding someone amidst all the interesting discussions.

If one cannot answer respectfully, then they should not answer at all.

I just re-instated the "Report" button. Please report any and all posts that violate our rules. If you think we need to add new rules, let me know and we'll work on them.

I want this to be a Forum everyone loves.
