It's a great day today! (by matthewfrommichigan)
I woke up, a miracle in itself because when I got in a bike accident about a year and a half ago, my body hit a tree, snapped in half, then hit a telephone pole, and I couldn't feel the pain from the 20 broken bones, or move my arms and legs, and today....I walk! I have shelter, food, and many friends. Why do I get in a rut and complain? CALL THE WHAAAABULANCE! LOL! What are YOU greatful for today? Remember, no matter how bleak it seems, someone, somewhere, has it a lot worse! I am speaking to me too!

@matthewfrommichigan: exellent way to look at it.... Too bad more people dont look at hard times like that.
@Riluamy: Thank you. It is hard to do, I do understand that. And hurting people, ALWAYS hurt other people, NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE. But if I can remember, I always try to REMEMBER WHEN. Remember when I did that? Said that? Hurt like that? Etc. THEN and only then, can I treat that one person with LOVE like JESUS did me when he LOVED ME FIRST! Have a GREAT day!
@matthewfrommichigan: I to am glad to be here and able to walk on my own 2 legs. I was in an accident that shattered my ankle into 211 pieces, almost had an amputation, had an external fixture for months, now have metal plate and 12 screws holding my ankle onto my leg. Most days are fine but some days are torture, but it could be worse right? So I'm thankful for a million things in my life
@Briteeyes: Thank-you BRITEEYES! I have 3 plates in my shoulder where they pieced my bones together. I have a lot of pain SOME days, but it makes me stop and think....I could have died! I am walking, and GREATFUL! I am glad you are here too! So glad to have met you here!
