I would be willing to bet that im in the saddle checking or moving cattle to fresh grass long before you ever get up for breakfast. The last time i checked we were not in europe? Just so you know the west was not won from the back of a standard bred or by a harness jockey? I could train a monkey to set a horse that only runs in a big circle:) I tell you what you do you take your standard bred and catch you a ton bull and let me know how you come out?

All horses are bred for different things. I like em all. But quarter horse was my fav for barrel racing and trails. Nothin wrong with harness racing but personally like riding on a horse so i like the longlegged thorobreds for racing.

I agree with acire all breed are meant for something. I love them all. All horses are all awesome. But my favorite is the egyptian arabian. I love their looks. Ive rode arabs, mustangs, QH and belgians.

I had an arabian named h.q. Falconeer but we called him dingy. Dumbest horse i ever saw. But boy he would just float in the ring. all looks and no brains lol

@acire we had several. My mom was a trainer for a guy and thats how she got charm. Which was my mothers horse. My best baby sitter was half fan. He live to be really old and he lived in the house and was broke to go outside. He was a grand champion in the show ring. They quit breeding him after he go old. But they would put me on his back and i was safe loved that horse. Them we had proud fire, snickers and candy. And my chapion cart pony. A shetland. Tucker. He i think thought i was stupid because he didnt understand cowboys and indians. Everytime i got shot i fell off he would stop and look at me.
