Why is most women (at least ones i have met) say they want a good hard working honest man...but then when they find out u drive truck they automatically assume either your some dumb hillbilly redneck ( not that i hace a problemwith hillbillies or rednecks lol) or ur some twisted perv....honestly i work harder then most people i know...own my own business and if i wasn't honest id be out if customers...idk just seems like if u drive truck women think you have something wrong witg ya....i try to be honest about me and what i do...should i hide it more untill they get to know me???

No ofcourse u shouldnt hide it. Be proud of who u r and what u do. I think truckers have a bad name cuz some are known for having a different girl at each stop, being a sugar daddy, porn shops, etc, but also alot of truckers arent home much so that mite be a problem for some women. Not saying u r any of these things, im jus sayin from what ive noticed. U seem nice & polite to me.

Yeah i hear ya...the girl at each stop is actually an old school type thing back when otr tducking meant u were out mayne a week and went to alot of the same places alot...suger daddies well yeah that happens...and porn stores but i also know a lot guys basically forced to park there...alot of people don't realize how strict our rules are on how long we can drive...theen there being nowhere else to go

Don't hide it, you should be proud of being an honest hard working man. If a woman buys into silly stereotypes instead of seeing you as an individual, she can keep on stepping - not worth your time.

I think its just that truck drivers get a bad rep because they made a few horror movies about killer truck drivers and that whole "dont trust the guy picking up a hich-hiker" thing. Kinda like the movie Jaws. People see the movie and autamadically think that a shark is gonna attack them if they go swimming on a beach in the ocean
